1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, making a reservation, or checking into Paneah Hotel & Suites, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are making a reservation on behalf of other guests, you accept these terms on their behalf as well.

These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with Paneah Hotel & Suites and apply to all stays, bookings, and use of hotel services and facilities.

2Reservations & Bookings

All reservations are subject to room availability at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of written or electronic confirmation from Paneah Hotel & Suites.

• Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.
• Accurate and complete information must be provided at the time of booking. Paneah Hotel & Suites reserves the right to cancel any reservation made with false or misleading information.
• Special requests (e.g. early check-in, room preferences) are noted but not guaranteed and are subject to availability on arrival.
• Promotional rates and packages are subject to their own specific terms communicated at the time of offer.

3Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in time: 14:00 (2:00 PM) local time. Early check-in may be arranged subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
• Check-out time: 12:00 (12:00 PM) local time. Late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
• Valid government-issued photo identification is required from all guests at check-in. We reserve the right to refuse check-in to any guest who cannot produce valid identification.
• Guests may be required to provide a credit card or cash deposit at check-in as security against incidental charges.

4Payment & Charges

All rates are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. Applicable government taxes and levies will be added to the quoted rate.

• Payment may be made by major credit or debit card, mobile money, or cash at the property. We reserve the right to verify card ownership.
• Room rates include the services specified at the time of booking (e.g. bed only, bed & breakfast, half board, or full board) and do not include additional services unless explicitly stated.
• Charges for additional services consumed during your stay (room service, telephone calls, minibar, laundry, etc.) will be added to your folio and settled at checkout.
• Paneah Hotel & Suites reserves the right to amend published rates at any time. The rate confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.

5Cancellation & Modification Policy

Cancellation terms depend on the rate type and conditions applicable to your specific booking, which will be communicated clearly at the time of reservation. General guidelines are as follows:

• Flexible rate bookings: cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time incur no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are charged one (1) night at the booked rate.
• Non-refundable rate bookings: 100% of the total booking value is charged regardless of when the cancellation is made.
• Modifications to dates or room type are subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment.
• All cancellations and modifications must be communicated in writing via email to info@paneahhotel.com or by calling +254 119 555 501.

6Guest Conduct

Paneah Hotel & Suites is committed to providing a comfortable and respectful environment for all guests and staff. We ask all guests to:

• Treat hotel staff, other guests, and hotel property with respect at all times.
• Observe quiet hours between 22:00 and 07:00 to avoid disturbing other guests.
• Not engage in conduct that is illegal, threatening, abusive, or disruptive to the hotel environment.
• Comply with all health, safety, and fire regulations posted on the premises.
• Not bring onto the premises any illegal substances, weapons, or materials that may endanger other guests or staff.

Paneah Hotel & Suites reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate the premises without refund if their behaviour is deemed harmful, disruptive, or in breach of these terms.

7Hotel Property & Guest Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay, whether accidental or intentional. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest's account.

• Paneah Hotel & Suites is not liable for loss or theft of guest valuables. Guests are encouraged to use the in-room safe for any valuables.
• Vehicles are parked on the hotel premises at the owner's risk. The hotel accepts no responsibility for theft of or damage to vehicles.
• Any items found in a guest room after departure will be held for a maximum of 30 days. Unclaimed items will be donated or disposed of after this period.

8Use of Hotel Facilities

Hotel facilities (including Mac's Restaurant, the business lounge, and conference rooms) are available to hotel guests and authorised visitors.

• Use of the business lounge and conference facilities may be subject to advance booking and availability.
• Mac's Restaurant is open 24 hours to hotel guests and members of the public.
• Paneah Hotel & Suites reserves the right to restrict access to any facility for operational, safety, or maintenance reasons.

9Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By making a reservation or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

10Intellectual Property

All content on the Paneah Hotel & Suites website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements — is the property of Paneah Hotel & Suites or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from our website without prior written permission from Paneah Hotel & Suites.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Paneah Hotel & Suites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your stay, use of hotel facilities, or access to our website.

Our total liability to any guest for any claim arising out of or in connection with a reservation shall not exceed the total amount paid by that guest for their stay.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

We encourage guests to raise any concerns with our management team first. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly without recourse to formal proceedings wherever possible.

13Changes to These Terms

Paneah Hotel & Suites reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version effective at the time of your booking or check-in will govern your stay. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
